SCSI is mainly for the server, workstation, and industrial control equipment markets. It is a connection between the host and peripheral devices interface, including disk drives, tape drives, optical drives, and scanners, including various devices. An independent SCSI bus supports up to 16 devices; SCSI devices occupy the bus equally.
